I have the current version installed and we are not getting any email from the plugin.  I do not see an answer for this in the forum.  We are using godaddy and gmail but our logs show no spam.

Hi Chris, can you please tell me if there are any log messages in Settings > Tools page? Best regards, Nikola

There are none.

Hi Chris, on that Tools page there is option to send a test email to provided address. Have you tried that? Also can you please test for example to reset password on login screen on panel that should send you the email. Maybe there is no email function on whole site.   Best regards, Nikola

Neither email test works.  I use a form plugin on the site that does generate emails so the site email does function, just not the appointment app.

I have resolved the email problem using a SMTP plugin.  EasyApp now send the emails and lists an appointment; HOWEVER, it no longer integrates with Google calendar and I have extra appointments showing on the "reports" page for which there are no appointments.  There doesn't appear to be a way to delete these "non available" blocks that do not have actual appointments in them.  We really need a solution to this or a look for an other service.

Hi Chris, EA relay on build in email function of the WordPress. SMTP always solve the issue because that is the safest way of sending emails. Can you please create a temp access account for me in order to see those Appointments. You can send the access data to nikolanbg[at]gmail[dot]com Best regards, Nikola

“EA relay on build in email function of the WordPress”

Hi Nikola,

Thank you, really great Plugin. I do have the same situation, and guess that’s the solution. We are going to connect to MailChimp, however I feel I am missing the point 🙂 Could you kindly explain how to activate/ set up the build in email function of the WordPress, please?

Also: Do you offer a premium/ paid version, and if – what advantages are in the paid version?
Best
Jay

Hi Jay only thing with MailChimp is to have it connected with your WP site. I think there is plugins already that are doing that. EA use build in WP functions for sending email and after you install that MailChimp it will redirect all email through it.

There is extension plugin that provide additional features like Google Calendar integration, Twilio, iCal files in email etc. 🙂

Best regards,
Nikola

Hi again,

Found a mistake, filled in in the customisation that I filled in the settings “Sent from” a name, not an email address. Now Emails are coming through to me as admin, however to me as client only after I’ve changed status to ‘confirmed’. Will there be no email for pending?

The email text though doesn’t indicate the time zone – see questions below.

Please delete previous comment above as it contains our data.

Two more questions came up:
– Location setting: Does your plugin aligns with user’s location? We’ve customers around the world, website setting US time, me working in South Africa.
– Autofill: We want to integrate the calendar into the registration process however avoid that the trial user has to fill in his details twice – once when registering with us, and a second time when he books in the same process the introduction call. Is there a way of auto filing the data the user just signed up with our registration into EasyAppointment?
Best

Hi, it should send for pending also emails. Do you have any content in Pending email template?
Regarding timezone there is no way of showing that atm.
For Locations you can create a separate pages with predefined location, so user will not have to choose Location.
Autofill exist but it’s based on Browser level. If same user visits form for the second time values are going to be auto populated. 🙂

Best regards,
Nikola
