Vacation Days
Hi Nikola,
We are closing on Sundays, so I put in a vacation day for each of the Sundays coming up for the next couple of months. I put everything in correctly, but the appointments are still showing up as available on the website. I know that sometimes you need to wait for it to update. How long does it take to update, or should I be concerned it's not working? Thanks, Steve Collins

Hi Steve, can you please share the link to that page with EA Form.
Best regards,
Nikola
Any thoughts on this? We are trying to close Sunday but people can book appointments. Please help and thanks.
Hi I was blocked when tried to open link. Can you please try next thing, try clearing the cache for that page. Looks like caching layer blocked those changes for vacation to show up.
Best regards,
Nikola
The cache clearing didn’t work.
Which link didn’t work for you? I put two above. I know that the vacation portion of Easy App didn’t work as we had people book with us yesterday.
Please advise
Hi Nikola,
I paid someone to look into this for me. This is what they found. Can you help me get this working so I can use the vacation feature? It solves so many problems for me...I think I've tracked down the source of the issue. Unfortunately it is an issue with the plugin itself...
Looks like the vacation functionality only works with the bootstrap version of the shortcode. I found the answer in this help forum post : https://easy-appointments.com/support/vacations-not-showing-in-front-end/
You can view the bootstrap version in action on a private page here (You'll need to be logged in as an admin to see this) https://shop.fireonthemountain-burningboards.com/appointments-test/
This brings up a different problem though where the hook to display the details of the service is no longer an option. (It also changes the style dramatically)
So there are two options for moving forward it would seem.
Option 1 : Keep the shortcode currently in place on the appointments page and remove the services for Sunday from the connections settings for the plugin so appointments cannot be booked on Sundays going forward. (Vacations feature will not work in this case)
Option 2 : Use the Updated shortcode on https://shop.fireonthemountain-burningboards.com/appointments-test/ where you'll be able to use the Vacations feature. But will have to find a different way to display the services information.
Thanks for your patience Stephen. Let me know if you have any questions.2

Hi, if you want we can extend that to ea_standard shortcode if that would be easy solution not to change shortcode?
Best regards,
Nikola
