Appointment Overlap ad Emailing Users
Regarding the email….no, there is no error log. I used the TOOL to send a test email and it’s just that nothing is received. I have tried several email servers (yahoo, outlook and gmail). the only emails I receive are to accounts on the same server they’re being sent from.
Regarding appointment overlap. My wife is a massage therapist. She offers 30, 60 and 90 minute treatments and it’s just her. The issue is that there has to be a 15 minute break between each one. so a 30 is set to 45 minutes, 60 to 75 and 90 to 105. That makes having 1 connection a bit hard. I believe you are suggesting she use one connection of 30 minutes and allow users to book multiples (i.e. 9 and 9:30 for an hour session). I would think there should be a setting to prevent the same worker at the same location from overlapping when they already have appointments. It does a great job of blocking out her time for existing appointments but it for some reason allows new appointments that start earlier to overlap when she’s not available. If I made this live, it would be a mess for her.
Hi, I think I know why you only get email on same server. Looks like you are sending those but mail server don’t allow to receive those so they are just discarded. Use SEND FROM value in settings to match the current domain so the email don’t act suspicious .
Best regards,
Nikola
Yes…we did set it to specifications in your SETTINGS (i.e. Patti ). I also have an email address on the same server (i.e. james@yyy.com) and I receive the emails as a user and my wife received the emails as the worker but no other domain will (yahoo/outlook/gmail) as the user. We have tried to use our yahoo addresses as the user and the emails never arrive.
Is there nothing that can be done for the appointment overlapping? That’s my largest issue right now as I can not have her double booked.
Hi, for overlapping I will have to take a closer look at the settings. Can you open Private topic here on support forum for that.
Best regards,
Nikola
