Custom fields problem

When I enter a custom field EA creates two custom fields with the same name. I can't remove them because of an error (I checked compatibility mode) and I can't make the field required or make it invisible. How to solve?

Hi Jan, do you have access to DB? You can remove it from database, those fields are stored in separate table called
ea_meta_fields.
