Hi, I'm setting up appointments for a paid service, and I think I have everything configured correctly, yet it isn't working as expected. I have the service defined and can make appointments. I have a Woocommerce product for the service, and it is connected to the EA service on the connect Woocommerce page. I have the "add to cart" checkbox checked. But, when I make an appointment, the product is not added to the cart. Is there something else I need to do? thanks

Hi, have you set the redirect page after making appointment? It's a option in Settings > Customize page. Best regards, Nikola

I didn\'t at first, but now I have them going to the cart after they book the appointment. The product was not added to the cart in either case.

Ok, I will check that locally and let you know if there is a any issue with that.   Best regards, Nikola

BTW, I’m running the latest Woocommerce, version 3.0.1

Nikola Loncar Staff answered 8 years ago

Hi,

thanks for the version update. Here is the thing you need to have price on that product (connected to the service) and mark it as virtual (this will handle the stock check). Make redirect url to cart page customer fills out the form. After you made those changes you should be able to see it in cart after redirect. :)

Best regards,
Nikola

Hi Nikola, OK, I made sure the product was set up as you describe. It is still failing to add the product to the cart when I make the appointment.
Nikola Loncar Staff answered 8 years ago
Hi, best way to test that is to try adding that product to cart via WooCommerce directly.   Best regards, Nikola

Hi, did you manage to add product to cart?

xnau webdesign Staff answered 8 years ago
Hi Nikola, Yes, I can add the product in the normal way. I have a client presentation coming up, time is short, so I went ahead and made some changes to the code to get this working because I do want to use this plugin. I'm happy to share what I did if you're interested.   --Roland

Hi Roland,
I have created a short screen cast on how to connect WooCommerce and EA. You can see it here. Regarding your work I will be more then happy to see it. That is the reason why EasyAppointments exist to have people using it, stand along or with Extension plugin :)
Best regards,
Nikola

Hi, thanks for sharing modification :) . I will take a look at those things and see how to merge it with current code in a safe way. Regarding missing Id in Woo settings page that is the issue when you just type the name without clicking on item in auto complete. I will add validation for that. Best regards, Nikola
