No Sync back from Google Calendar

SupportNo Sync back from Google Calendar
rainer Staff asked 8 months ago
Hi!

I configured the connect plugin successfully and linked my Google Calendar to it. The appointments entered in Easy Appointments are synced to the Google Calendar, but the other way it doesn't work. So if I create an appointment in Google Calendar, there is no new appointment entered in easy appointments (is this even possible?) and also the slot is not blocked (just this would also ok for me). What else can I try?
  1. Yes, the connection / account linking is ok
  2. Yes, the cron job is executed reliably
  3. Yes, I configured the Advanced Calendars sync to just map one calendar to one location/service/worker combination
  4. No, I sadly can't provide logs, as when I click "Download sync log file" it doesn't work ("Check your internet connection" even though I def. have internet connection)

Hi Rainer, can you please paste here how advance sync option mapping looks like?

Hi rainer, settings looks good. Do you have any warning message at top of that settings page? Best regards, Nikola

Hi Nikola, thanks for looking into it, but version 1.2.0 didn't seem to fix the issue on my end.
I don't have any warning message at the top of that settings page, I re-authorized the token and also manually executed the cron task after adding an appointment to my synced Google Calendar. I still don't see that timeslot blocked in EA.

Hi, I can confirm that. The update didn´t change anything. I also have no warning messages at the top of the settings page.

Hi, can you please check error log file on your hosting to check if there are any errors related to EasyAppointments? Best regards, Nikola

Looks fine as there are no errors popping up. Still, the appointments either aren't synced back to EA or not blocking the timeslot. If you need further information or want to do a call for live debugging, let me know.

Any news on this issue?
Nikola Loncar Staff answered 8 months ago

Hi Raner, thanks for the logs. By looking at those it should sync events. There are not issues with Cron job. It synced :

[2024-03-12 7:52:08.751535] [info] Total sync events : 19

is there anything specific for those other events that are not synced back?

Best regards,
Nikola

Hi Nikola, I just tried it again and now it worked. I didn't change anything, nor did anything different.
Thanks for the support!
Nikola Loncar Staff replied 8 months ago
