PayPal box not popping up since version 1.2.40

We have had issues with any updates since this version ( 1.2.40) and while I try every month or so, have to rollback to the last working version.
1st issue was that PayPal would accept the payment but the system would not send confirmation email. This happened since January this year. You may have fixed this issue but I was not prepared to take the risk as we get 10-20 bookings a day I just updated to 2.3.2 and connect 0.9.7 Now the PayPal popup disappears off the screen after a second or two and no payment can be made. I roll back and refresh and no problems at all.
Am I missing some requirements you have added to the newer versions? This happens on Firefox, Chrome and Explorer.
I am getting a little concerned now that any update since this version does not work and that soon an update will be required to meet some new conditions Paypal sets I am using the latest Wordpress version and use Bluehost and have searched through the forum to see if there is a solution - but can not find any

Paypal also seems to make two charges for a single bookings. I am happy to give you administrator access to investigate

I have re-added you as an admin, You never got around to looking into this, and I need to fix it or move on to another plugin. I still have the same issue that it seems many others have. PayPal box pops up for a split second then goes away.
I read through all the posts since I did this a year ago, and have made sure there is a price for the service and the passwords and authorization are correct. The old plugin works, it is only the updates that do not.
I really would like this fixed because I love your plugin (and because the data for appointments for the next year will be very time consuming to duplicate in a new plugin).
There is the old plugin in the updraft backup, which I reset back to each time I update and it does not work. As I mentioned in the first post, we get anything from 10-20 bookings a day but now is slow season so the system can afford to go down for 30-60 minutes.
Hoping you can help, it seems I am not alone with this issue

Hi Andrew, I have tried to see what is issue there but every time PayPal worked fine. Can you please send me the exact case when dialog is not opening. Maybe it can work with your account because you can’t pay to your self?

That can be seen in browser console when dialog is closed. Can you please check if there is message regarding that?

Yes I am aware you can not pay yourself. I still have the old version of the plugin 2.1.3 this is the last version that works. If you update the plugin to any new version it stops working.
You will need to update the plugin to get the bug. Then once you can see what is happening, if unable to find a solution revert back to the old plugin using the saved backdraft plugin

So we established that this issue occurs when you select the hide the price option on the booking. I have unchecked this and PayPal works. However I still want to hide the price. We take a deposit when someone makes a booking.
Many customers are assuming that this is the total price and arrive for the appointment getting upset there is more. So we want to hide the price and use this feature which is interfering with the PayPal aspect. Any progress on fixin this? It does not seemed to have been addresses in the latest update
Hi, you are right. With price is fine. That part must be implemented because when you remove price it is not able to calculate price and popup window is closed right away. This will be solved, sorry for waiting.
