Requirement-text is not rendered as HTML in german language

Hello,
the text "<small>Erforderliche Formularfelder sind mit einem <span class="ea-required">*</span> gekennzeichnet</small>" is rendered incorrectly, due to the html entities used.
Is this text either editable by the user or could you edit it in the plugins language files?
